This Veterans Day, 

which takes place on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 

Americans will honor all of the brave men and women who have served in the military.

To show appreciation for their service, many restaurants and businesses offer special deals, discounts, and even free meals to veterans. Sometimes these promotions will even extend to the immediate family members of active-duty military and service members.

Please remember you must present a valid military ID or proof of service to qualify for the freebies offered to our Veterans and for some of the deals and sales offered. There are still some Veterans Day sales at many retailers that are open to the general public the weekend of Veterans Day as well.

Here are just some of the deals and freebies that current and retired service members can get on this Veterans Day 2018. Please note that some of these promos may take place on Monday, November 12th, 2018 which is when Veterans Day is observed.

Also, be sure to call your local restaurant or business to confirm that they’re participating.

Macy's is offering a 20% off Veterans Day sale + free shipping when you spend $49, using code: VETS this offer is good through 11/11/2018 and is open to the public.

Fanatics.com offers military and first responders 15% on their orders. Must verify status as Military, Veteran, First Responder or Dependent via the ID.me widget on the site, some product restrictions may apply.

For the NASCAR fans, Store.NASCAR.com is proud to offer a discount of 10% to select customers who are active duty military, veterans or retired military as well their immediate family members with ID.me "TroopID" verification.

Great Clips salon on November 11th, 2018 is offering either a free haircut that day or the free haircut card to use at a later date for Veterans and current military members. For non-military customers, if you Purchase a service at a U.S. Great Clips salon on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know.

November the month to remember everything you should be thankful for and spending quality time with your loved ones.

Important dates to take note of in November are Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 which will be observed on Monday, November 12th, 2018. Thanksgiving which is the third Thursday of November will be on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 and Black Friday which is always the Friday after Thanksgiving will be on Friday, November 23rd, 2018.
