As the weather heats up, so do the shopping deals!

May is a month filled with the promise of spring and the anticipation of summer. It's a time when consumers are looking for fresh new products to match the energy of the season. Whether it’s upgrading your home, refreshing your wardrobe, or getting ready for outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone. Here’s your guide to the top trending product categories to shop for in May.

Refresh Your Wardrobe: Summer Fashion Finds

As the weather warms up, it's the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe with the latest summer fashion trends. Look for flowy dresses, breathable fabrics, and vibrant prints that capture the essence of summer. Don't forget to check out swimwear, sandals, and sunglasses to prepare for those sunny beach days.

Upgrade Your Tech: Gadgets Galore

Tech enthusiasts can rejoice as May often brings exciting deals on the latest gadgets. From smartphones with impressive cameras to smart home devices that make life easier, staying up-to-date has never been more satisfying.

Home Makeover: Indoor and Outdoor Decor

Spring cleaning often leads to a desire for a home makeover. Enhance your living space with trendy home decor items such as indoor plants, wall art, and decorative cushions. For those who love spending time outdoors, consider purchasing patio furniture or a new grill for those backyard barbecues.

Fitness Focus: Gear Up for Outdoors

With warmer weather, it's time to take your workout sessions outside. Invest in quality fitness wear, running shoes, and exercise equipment that can withstand the elements. Biking and hiking gear are also popular purchases in May, providing you with the perfect excuse to explore the great outdoors.

Beauty Must-Haves: Skin and Hair Care

The transition from spring to summer calls for an update to your beauty routine. Sunscreen, moisturizers, and hair care products designed to protect against sun damage should be at the top of your list. Keep an eye out for seasonal sales on your favorite brands.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner in May, it's a good time to start planning ahead now. Mother’s Day Jewelry, watches, and other fine accessories will be discounted at lower prices and become more affordable and perfect for a mother/mother figure/wife. Also, this is the best time to get great deals on flowers and chocolates for those special ladies in your life who deserve that extra appreciation. With unique gifts that are on sale, it would be difficult to pass up some hot deals.

Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day are also coming up in May. Memorial Day weekend look for a plethora of sales that will be perfect for the beginning of the summer. Use these May discounts as a perfect opportunity to buy small kitchen appliances, such as coffee makers, blenders, toasters, etc. You could even see incredible deals on large appliance packages as well, as these products are normally included in Memorial Day sales. Now, let’s talk about furniture. Memorial Day is considered one of the biggest blowout shopping days of the year; making this event almost as big as Christmas at the beginning of summer. You may look for plenty of deals on furniture, home d├ęcor, and even grills; perfect for those summer cookouts.

April Shopping Guide

Check out all the Krazy deals we found for April 2024
This post contains paid affiliate links, please read our Advertising Disclosure Statement.

April showers bring May flowers and also the dreaded spring cleaning.

Now is the time to start packing away those winter clothes. You can find many deals on storage totes, organization, and cleaning supplies. April is also a great time to replace your vacuum cleaner. I know buying a vacuum isn’t necessarily the most exciting purchase you'll make, but it can be less painful when you’re taking advantage of a spring cleaning sale. Easter is Sunday, April 9th this year, and when Easter is done and over, leftover candy and Easter-related products will be deeply discounted.

Also with winter finally over (for some of us..lol), it’s the perfect time to get active again and there will be many deals on sneakers and activewear to help you out. Consider this your reminder and extra motivation to keep working towards those fitness goals you set in January! Keep going, YOU GOT THIS!!

Surprisingly tires also go down in price around April, so if you need to replace them, April is a great month to find Krazy Deals on some new tires. Also, FYI Mother's Day is right around the corner coming up on May 12th to be exact, so some April deals would work out well too, as small appliances and jewelry tend to be discounted in April.

April definitely has its fair share of spring deals and discounts. Other dates to remember coming up in April are Earth Day on the 22nd, Administrative Professionals Day on the 24th, and Arbor Day on the 26th. Tax Day will be April 15th, 2024.

April Shopping Guide 2020

Shopping in the age of the COVID-19 Pandemic April 2020
This post contains paid affiliate links, please read our Advertising Disclosure Statement.

Shopping in the age of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Normally this guide would consist of me telling you about the best things to buy and the best deals for this month. However, so much has changed in our world in such a short period of time, especially the way we are shopping.

With countries, states, counties, and cities going on lockdown, limiting our abilities to move around freely for our normal shopping trips and with job layoffs and furloughs most of us are focusing on necessity shopping only. We're also finding ourselves ordering most of those necessities online, either for delivery or for pickup while the world is practicing in social distancing.

As grocery shopping is an essential part of everyday life, grocery stores are making it even easier for you to get those essentials without ever having to step foot in their store, with grocery pickup and even delivery directly to your front door. Walmart Grocery has grocery pickup and even offers home delivery in some areas. Target offers home delivery through Shipt.

Other grocery stores that offer grocery pickup and/or delivery are Publix, Aldi, Kroger, Wegmans, Costco, Wholefoods, Albertsons, Sprouts…etc. Another service similar to Shipt which partners with hundreds of retailers nationwide that offer grocery delivery straight to your door is Instacart.

Grocery delivery companies are not anything new, some are even solely online grocery companies such as Boxed, Thrive Market, AmazonFresh, FreshDirect and Misfit Market.

In these uncertain times saving money on basic necessities is as important as ever. One of my go-to coupon and coupon code browser extensions is Honey. I also recommend using cashback apps to earn money back on your everyday purchases. My favorite cashback apps are Ibotta, Rakuten, and Fetch Rewards.

Most companies are experiencing unusually high order volumes, and product shortages resulting in shipping delays and products out-of-stock Due to high demand, orders could be delayed. Please be patient as our truck drivers, stock personnel and delivery drivers work tirelessly to keep up with the current supply and demand.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our April Shopping Guide 2020! What other stores, apps and/or browser extensions do you like to use? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
