3 Tbsp Land O Lakes butter with Olive Oil and Sea salt
Topping and filling:
Place your strawberries, 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup powdered swerve sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a saucepan. Simmer on medium Heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until your strawberries have completely broken down. Remove from heat and strain, you may need to use a spoon to help push the strawberry topping through your strainer. You should now have two separate bowls containing your topping and filling. Cool completely. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
Cheesecake:
Beat cream cheese and 2 tsp vanilla in a bowl with a mixer until blended, using a spatula to scrape sides as needed. In a separate Bowl combine 1/2 cup Swerve sugar and 1 packet of Knox gelatin, add 3/4 cup boiling water, stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Gradually add your gelatin mixture to your cream cheese mixture and beat with mixer until completely combined. Refrigerate cheesecake mixture for 10 to 15 minutes. Grab your brain mold and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray. Stir your lightly refrigerated cheesecake mixture with a spatula scraping your size poor in about half a cup of your teeth cake mixture into your brain mold and swirl it around getting it into all the nooks and crannies of the mold add another 1/2 cup a cheesecake mixture and repeat then place your brain mold and remaining cheesecake mixture in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes. Take your strawberry filling and about a half a cup of Cheesecake mixture combined and poor in the center of your brain mold trying to avoid the sides. Then slowly add the remainder of your cheesecake mixture around and on top of the strawberry filling. Lightly tap the brain mold on a hard surface to remove any air bubbles and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Graham Cracker Crust:
Combine 1/2 cups of Schär gluten free Honeygramsgraham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons Swerve granulated sugar and one third cup butter in food processor. Pour graham cracker mixture into bottom of your brain mold lightly pressing the mixture into what will be the bottom of your cheesecake. Return cheesecake to refrigerator for 45 minutes.
To demold I put a plate over the bottom of the mold and while holding the mold and plate together I flipped the mold upright. You can also dip the mold in a bowl of hot water before flipping the mold over with a plate. I suggest you dry the mold off before flipping.

~Creepy Craft roll candles~
You'll need:
Toilet paper and paper towel rolls (Free)
Hot glue gun (Wal-Mart)
Glue sticks (Wal-Mart)
Platter (Dollar Tree) $1
Black spray paint (Wal-Mart) $0.99 I used what I had on hand
White/off-white craft paint (Wal-Mart)
LED tea lights (Dollar Tree) $1 each for a 2 pack
Optional: Embellishments (Dollar Tree) $1 School glue (Dollar Tree) $1
First I wanted to add some Halloween embellishments to my platter before painting it. So I took some skull and bat rings that I got from the Dollar Tree and cut off the ring part and hot glued them to my platter. I used one of my LED tea lights as a spacer tool.
Then I spray painted the platter black. In the how to video one of the skulls decided it didn't want to be on the platter anymore... So, I continued painting the platter even spraying the skull that jumped off, so when they both are dry I will simply glue him back on. You can always use E6000 glue for a more secure hold. Once painted set aside to dry.
Next we're going to start putting together our craft roll candles and adding the "dripping wax" with hot glue.When applying the hot glue I alternated with varying lengths of messy glue. I repeated this step with a second row of glue lines again of varying lengths that were a little shorter than the first row. Then I added a heavy line of hot glue around the top and allowed it to naturally drip down. Note: having your hot glue gun set on high, heats up the glue enough for it to run. After the outer glue drips were dry, I then ran a bead of glue around the inside of each roll to give a ledge for the LED tea light to sit on.
I then mixed my paint colors to my desired color and added school glue to the paint. Adding the school glue is optional, I like to add it to my craft paint as a cheap medium to thicken it up a bit. I also feel like it helps the paint last longer and adhere a little better. Then grab your paintbrush and paint away.
I also painted the tops of my LED tea lights.
After your candles are dry, it's time to glue them to your platter base, add you're LED tea lights and find it, it's new home amongst your Halloween decor!
~LED "Blood" Candles~
LED candles (Dollar Tree) $1 each for a 2 pack
Batteries (Dollar Tree) $1
Hot glue gun (Wal-Mart)
Hot glue sticks red or clear (I couldn't find red...)
Red craft paint (if you're like me and you couldn't find red glue sticks) (Wal-Mart)
The LED candles I used comes with a convenient holder so they stand upright which I thought was pretty clever! So we're going to put our LED candle into its holder and start adding our "dripping wax" with our hot glue gun.
When applying the hot glue I like to alternate with varying lengths of messy glue. I repeated this step with a second row of glue lines again of varying lengths that were a little shorter than the first row. Then I added a heavy line of hot glue around the top and allowed it to naturally drip down. Note: having your hot glue gun set on high, heats up the glue enough for it to run. On the top run of hot glue I went a little heavy on one side then flipped the candle upside down to give it an uneven melted effect.
If like me you couldn't find red glue sticks once the hot glue is fully dry it's time to paint the "dripping wax" red. Once dry they are ready to use.
~"Blood" Candles~
You'll need:
Cardboard egg crate to set the candles in (Free)
White tapered candles (Dollar Tree) $1 each 2 pack
Red candle (Dollar Tree) $1
Lighter (Dollar Tree)
For this simple project, I lit my tapered candle and allowed it to burn a bit. While I was letting it burn I let the wax drip into the egg crate to create a secure base for my candle later.
After I was done letting the candle burn down a bit I flipped it right side up and set it in the wax I was dripping into the egg crate. I then blew out the candle and with a wet paintbrush I put a drop of water on the smoking Wick to stop it from smoking (Didn't want to set off the smoke alarm above my head...).
I then took my lit red candle and proceeded to drip the melted red wax onto the white tapered candle. Once you've achieved your desired effect, just let the wax dry and you're done!
